Four Hands Kitchen | Michelin star Thierry Drapeau
Superb culinary extravaganza at Our Four Hands Dinners and Cooking Class on 22nd and 23rd March 2019 delighted our diners and wine connoisseurs. They were captivated by our exquisite 5-course set menu crafted by Michelin star Chef Thierry Drapeau and Chef Sakal Phoeung (President of Escoffier Vietnam). Entrées “Crab meat tartare from Hai Phong”, “Pan-fried foie gras” and main course “Caramelized duck with Pastilla of duck confit, cinnamon and cacao juice” were given a thumb’s up by all.
Guests were entertained by groovy jazz music in a cozy yet luxurious ambiance. Chef Thierry Drapeau and Chef Sakal Phoeung greeted diners at every table and was congratulated by our delighted guests.

Michelin Star Chef Thierry Drapeau
Born in the city of Nantes in France, Chef Thierry Drapeau was raised in a family tradition of cooking, he found his passion for culinary art while watching his father preparing the family meal every weekend. At the age of 21, he was already appointed as chef de partie at a 2 Michelin stars restaurant. After years of working alongside various renowned Chefs in France, he eventually set up on his own with Logis de Chabotterie restaurant in Saint-Sulpice-le-Verdon. From then on, he constantly impressed the culinary world with his dedication to his craft and his cooking motto. His persevered efforts paid off with the coveted 2 Michelin stars after 10 years.
President of Escoffier in Vietnam Chef Sakal Phoeung
Sakal Phoeung is a French Executive Chef with over 22 years of experience in luxury hotels and several upscale restaurants. After serving as Executive Chef for the opening of Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra, he returned back to Vietnam in 2012 as the Executive Chef of Sofitel Plaza Saigon until 2016. He also won Iron Chef Vietnam game show 5 times, and the Golden Prize in the MLA Black Box Culinary Challenge contest.
